Emily Miller, the person behind My Clear Accounts Ltd
Emily is proactive, efficient and hardworking, offering clients a professional but flexible service.
In 2002, she graduated from Nottingham Business School with 2:1 BA(Hons) in Accounting & Finance. Whilst studying, she did a placement year with a multinational Pharmaceutical company, where she focused mainly on corporation tax and VAT.

Since graduating Emily has worked for four FTSE companies across different functions and industries, within the finance department, holding several management and leadership positions. She began her Chartered Institute for Management Accounting (CIMA) studies in her first graduate role and became CIMA qualified in 2005, becoming a CIMA Member in Practice in 2013.

Emily loves to help business owners achieve their ambitions in life. Everyone’s life and business ambitions are different, she respects that and will listen to what you want to achieve and ensure she helps you to accomplish this.

Emily started My Clear Accounts as a sole trader in 2013, after taking a career break to bring up her young family and accompany her husband on a work placement in Saudi Arabia for a few years.

On returning, she decided the 9 to 5 route wasn’t for her and felt she had the determination, knowledge and experience, to help small local businesses. Flexibility is key for small businesses, so with her flexible working pattern, you can have meetings at more convenient times and places.

In 2016 Emily incorporated the business, becoming My Clear Accounts Limited and has never looked back!
Emily keeps herself busy in her spare time. She volunteers as the manager of her son’s rugby team and the treasurer of the rugby club. She also enjoys running, cycling and playing squash & tennis, but most of all spending time with her boys experiencing new things with them, as you can see in the photo!
